Niima is San Diego's first multi-family dwelling constructed from cross-laminated timber (CLT), this project impacts local economies by boosting demand for regional forestry products and reducing environmental impacts associated with concrete and steel. Its design allows for more residential units, promoting density without sacrificing aesthetics or safety. We created a website to showcase this one-of-a-kind project. The design incorporates wood grain patterns and large open imagery emulating expansive windows. There is a strong emphasis on loading speed and optimized web delivery systems to reduce the carbon impact of the website.
